LAMINATED ROLLER BLINDS - AN ALTERNATIVE TO ROMAN BLINDS?

Laminated roller blinds provide a great alternative to roman blinds in situations where there is insufficient headroom for the pleats of the roman blinds to stack above the window. Laminated roller blinds can be made-up in a fabric of your own choice and fitted with a fascia which hides the mechanism of the roller blind thereby achieving a more sophisticated finish than a standard roller blind. The fascia can either have a matching fabric insert or we can pick out a co-ordinating plain fabric to give a contrasting pelmet.

This Laminated Roller blind with a matching fascia detail was recently fitted in a loft conversion in Altrincham with a limited ceiling height. The Romo fabric is bonded to a cream dimout lining and the blind is operated manually with a silver chain mechanism.

Laminated blinds can be dimout lined or blackout lined depending upon the requirements of the room and blinds can be either operated manually or on battery operated mechanisms.

The three laminated roller blinds work perfectly with the design of this glazed dining room extension in this recently completed project in Hale. The delicate linen Cole & Son fabric is bonded to a white dimout lining to provide privacy without cutting out the daylight completely The single slim matching fascia unifies the three blinds, hiding the roller blind mechanisms without restricting the headroom for the french windows.
